Musicians-In-Residence: Kodak Quartet

Dates: June 10 – 21, 2025

Presented by the Glen Arbor Arts Center’s Manitou Music Series + Interlochen Public Radio’s Sound Garden Project

About the Kodak Quartet

The Kodak Quartet brings their genre-defying sound to the Glen Arbor area through a special collaboration between the Glen Arbor Arts Center and Interlochen Public Radio’s Sound Garden Project.

Hailing from the U.S., Canada, France, and South Africa, this NYC-based quartet is celebrated for its riveting stage presence and creative programming. Described as blending “the intensity of a rock band with the depth of classical music,” they are winners of:

2023 Frances Walton Competition
2023 Coltman Chamber Music Competition

Their past performances include Carnegie Hall, Banff Centre, and collaborations with GRAMMY-winning artists such as Time for Three and Kronos Quartet.

️ Musician Residency: June 10–21, 2025

Throughout their two-week residency, the Kodak Quartet will lead immersive musical experiences across the Glen Arbor area, including:

  • Public performances
  • School and library visits
  • Open rehearsals
  • Spontaneous musical interactions

This program is part of the Sound Garden Project’s mission to “plant classical music in unexpected places” — from beaches to parks to porches.
