Annual membership runs March-February
Membership Levels
$65 Individual ($50 for artists)
$85 Household ($70 for artists)
$200+ Supporter
All members receive discounts on classes, performances, and programs, plus recognition in the annual report.
Artist members receive a $15 instant discount on individual or household memberships plus additional benefits, including eligibility to exhibit and discounted fees.
Supporter level members and above receive a complimentary signed Manitou Music poster, facility rental privileges, and access to the North American Reciprocal Museum program.
Curator Circle
The Curator Circle unites dedicated supporters who believe in the power of the arts. With a commitment of $500 annually for five years or a one time gift of $2,500 or more, Curator Circle supporters provide the leadership funding that sustains exhibitions, artists, youth programs, and community events year round.
Curator Circle members receive invitations to exclusive gatherings, early Plein Air artwork purchases, and a complimentary signed Manitou Music poster.

The Glen Arbor Arts Center offers sponsorship opportunities for exhibitions and signature events throughout the year, including Plein Air Weekend, the annual Program Guide, and youth arts programs.

Is my donation tax deductible?
Glen Arbor Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt nonprofit organization. Contributions may be tax deductible as allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your gift. A receipt will be emailed to you upon successful completion of your donation. Please retain it for your records.
How do I get a receipt?
You will receive an email receipt and formal acknowledgment letter by mail at the address provided at the time of your donation. The receipt will include your gift details for your records.

What are the reasons to consider giving more than once a year?
Your pledge to give monthly or yearly helps us budget our resources effectively with predictable monthly revenue. It’s very convenient for you: your gift securely and automatically renews each month so you never have to worry about forgetting. You can update or stop your gift at any time. And you’ll get fewer paper solicitations which is a cost savings!
What are the reasons to consider becoming a Curator Circle donor?
Like monthly sustaining patrons, Curator Circle donations helps us budget our resources effectively with predictable annual revenue. It also offers Curator Circle members unique opportunities and events to be in community with other art lovers.
Does my gift have to be in cash?
No. In addition to cash or credit card gifts, the Glen Arbor Arts Center gratefully accepts appreciated securities, wire transfers, and IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions.
If you have held stocks or bonds for more than one year, a gift of appreciated securities may allow you to take a charitable deduction for the full fair market value and avoid capital gains tax.
If you are age 70½ or older, you may also make a Qualified Charitable Distribution directly from your IRA, which can count toward your required minimum distribution and may provide tax benefits.

How do I make a stock gift?
The Glen Arbor Arts Center gratefully accepts gifts of appreciated securities.
Please contact Meg Worth, Development Director, to receive transfer instructions and to ensure your gift is properly credited and acknowledged at 231-334-6112 x102 or [email protected].
Please note, the GAAC is not automatically notified when a gift of stock is received, please advise us of your planned gift. The GAAC’s policy is to sell gifts of stock immediately.
How can I give in honor or memory or someone?
A recognition or memorial gift is a wonderful way to honor the legacy of your friend or loved one. If you would like to make such a gift, click on the checkbox below the amount you wish to give that says “Dedicate my donation in honor or in memory of someone.” A drop down box will appear where you can note the name of the person you are recognizing and send an e-card and/or postal card if you wish.
Are there ways to support the Glen Arbor Arts Center other than financial gifts?
Yes! There are lots of ways to volunteer one’s time and talents to the Glen Arbor Arts Center – everything from helping in the office, to greeting gallery visitors during exhibition openings, to assisting teachers during classes and helping distribute event flyers around town. Can I designate my gift?
Yes. You may designate your gift to a specific program or fund, including the Endowment, General Operating, Sustainability Fund, or Scholarship Fund. Please include your designation in the memo line of your check or in the notes section when giving online.
