Close your eyes and imagine the feeling of a slight breeze gently moving across your face. Listen to the bird song. Feel your heart rate slow. Feel your mind ease into a sense of calm, wonder, and inspiration. Feel inspired to create. This is forest bathing with an expressive arts focus.
Forest Bathing is a sensory immersion experience in nature. You walk slowly, observe, sit quietly, and notice things. Research has found that forest bathing can reduce anxiety and depression, provide better sleep, lower blood pressure and heart rate, increase cognitive abilities and creativity, increase feelings of gratitude and overall well-being.
Join Debby Singleton, Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide and Artist on a forest bathing walk to experience relaxation, connection, and creativity. Using found natural objects and provided art supplies; you will have the opportunity to create, sketch, and journal in a natural setting. We may also incorporate a tea ceremony into our time together. No prior experience is necessary.
