Paint Away That Problem

Paint Away That Problem

Take part in a surprisingly simple new process for healing life’s issues by accessing your intuitive, non-dominant side to evoke visualizations and then transfer them to paper. Discover what your intuition is telling you! Bring your own sketchpad, a colorful dry medium (any kind of pastels, colored pencil, even crayons!) and solve that problem using intuition, visualization and artistry! Author and artist Linda Alice Dewey shares her technique, which develops the right brain’s natural intuitive problem solving abilities.

This year, artist Linda Alice Dewey of Glen Arbor celebrates 50 years since she first began working with pastels. Following a career of teaching music, art, and reading, she delved full-time into art and writing. Linda began selling her paintings in Leelanau County in 1992, and believes everything is about color, value, and light. She is currently represented by Synchronicity Gallery in Glen Arbor.
