On-line Application Period: Through February 2, 2023 | 11:59 PM
The Glen Arbor Arts Center’s OUTDOOR GALLERY is a venue for the exhibition of visual art on the south and west exterior walls of its building. We seek to exhibit the original work of a single artist. The selected work will be eye-catching, compelling, colorful, and communicate the spirit of the Glen Arbor Arts Center with fresh originality. The selected, original work will be enlarged and reproduced on five, separate 5 foot x 5 foot square, weather-resistant outdoor panels, which will be exhibited for one year. The winning artist will receive a $500 prize provided by the Amy L. Clark-Carels Family Fund.
Open To
All media. Original work can be any shape or size as long as it can be photographed at the specified high resolution; and can be adapted/edited to the square format.
Images
- Digital images submitted with the application should be high-quality, and sized up to 2MB.
- Work selected to be exhibited in 2023 – 2024 will be reproduced from professional-quality, high-resolution images provided by the artist. The submitted jpeg file size of each image must be 150 pixels per inch. Again, the art displayed in the Outdoor Gallery will be digital reproductions of the original work. Original artwork will remain with the artist and will not be exhibited.

- NOTE: Applicants are encouraged to submit work that fits this square format; or work that can be cropped to this square format.
