At the Glen Arbor Arts Center, September is Creative Wellness Month.

We’re seeking instructors to be part of this month-long exploration of creativity and well-being.
We invite proposals for workshops and classes that encourage reflection, renewal, and meaningful creative engagement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Visual arts
  • Writing
  • Movement and mindfulness
  • Nature-based or interdisciplinary practices 

Program Details

  • Held throughout September
  • One-time or multi-session offerings
  • Opportunities for both free and paid programs

Why Creative Wellness?

Creative wellness is about using artistic and mindfulness practices to support mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Whether through visual arts, writing, movement, or meditation, engaging our creative selves helps us slow down, process, connect, and thrive.


How to Apply

Returning Teachers: If you’ve taught with GAAC before, thank you for continuing to share your work with our community. Please use the class proposal form to submit new ideas: Class Proposal From

New Teachers: Please begin by completing the New Teacher Form. Once you’ve connected with our Program Manager, you’ll be invited to submit a class proposal: New Teacher Form

Your ideas help us continue to offer a wide range of creative experiences for our community.

We also offer creative wellness programming throughout the year and welcome ideas beyond September.
