2026 Outdoor Gallery Panel Auction

Auction Dates: April 21-23, 2026

Each year the Glen Arbor Arts Center transforms the exterior walls of the building into an open air gallery featuring large scale artwork by a selected artist. At the end of the exhibition, the panels are offered for sale through an online auction.

This year’s auction features five panels from Inside the Outside, a series by Traverse City artist Justin Shull. The original digital drawings were reproduced on 5 foot square aluminum panels with a weather resistant finish and have been on display at the Arts Center since May 2025.

Auction Details

Online bidding begins April 21, 9 am, and concludes on April 23, 2 pm. Scroll down this page to see the panels and place bids.

Opening bids begin at $600 per panel on these five panels: The Snow, Blur, The Water, Ripple, Hay Door. Bidders may place or increase bids at any time during the auction. When bidding closes on April 23, the highest bid for each panel wins.

You must be registered or logged in to your GAAC user account before you are able to place a bid.

Each auction product page includes information tabs with details about bidding (how to place your bids), artwork details (technical information about the panels, pickup, and winner responsibilities), and the artist’s bio. You may want to read this information in advance of your bidding. When the bidding opens, there will also be a Bids tab you can view to see bid history.

You can get nose-to-nose with the Outdoor Gallery panels anytime of the day or night. They’re always on view on the exterior walls of the GAAC.
