Even the busiest professionals need time to create just for themselves. Glen Arbor Arts Center offers classes designed to inspire new ideas, stretch your skills, and rekindle your creative spark—all in a setting that nurtures both artistry and community. Alex Smith, Faculty Member, Visual Communications Program, NMC was inspired by our Tiny Houses class at Thoreson Farm.

“I took part in the Tiny Houses class last July. Because it was a small group our instructor John Huston was able to allow us extra time to experiment with forms and glazes. This was my first class at the Glen Arbor Arts Center and I will definitely be back next summer.” (Alex pictured on left.)

Tiny Houses is a hands-on ceramics class where students learn the fundamentals of extruding and slab-rolling clay to construct miniature clay houses, along with a variety of decorating techniques.
