Description
This intensive three-day workshop is designed for teen artists ready to develop deliberate artistic expression in watercolor. Drawing inspiration from the Northern Michigan landscape around Thoreson Farm, students will master advanced techniques such as glazing (controlled layering) and monochromatic value study to understand light and depth.
We will focus heavily on composition and using color theory to convey specific moods and atmospheres, transforming observation into expressive art. The journey culminates in a series of intentional watercolor studies, bound into a reflective natural portfolio.
