Description
Join the Glen Arbor Arts Center for a special evening celebrating the life and work of local artist Harvey Gordon, whose vibrant acrylic paintings and innovative glazing techniques have inspired audiences for decades.
The evening will feature a musical tribute by Harvey’s son, tenor David Gordon, accompanied by pianist Susan Snyder. Together, they will perform a selection of songs and arias by Bernstein, Sondheim, Mozart, Beach, Berg, and more.
A singer, actor, director, and educator, David has performed with New York City Opera, Hawaii Opera Theatre, and the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra. He currently serves on the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music.
Through this intimate performance, David honors his father’s creative spirit and celebrates the enduring connections between art, music, and family.
