Alyssa Brieanne Jordan, Fiber Artist and Instructor

Alyssa Brieanne Jordan is one of the Glen Arbor Arts Center’s year-round teachers, and one of the Art Rangers Summer Camp instructors. You may see her fiber work hanging in the Main Gallery. She is passionate about being in the classroom with students, helping them explore different creative disciplines, and providing a safe space where their minds can create whatever they can imagine. Alyssa says she is amazed by the innovative and imaginative projects the students make during Art Rangers and the Adult Embroidery classes she teaches. She is grateful for the personal growth, the opportunity has given her, and seeing students come back excited summer after summer. “Success is seeing prior students walk through the door at the beginning of Art Ranger Camp ready to put brush to paper again. The Glen Arbor Arts Center works to promote so many art disciplines and it’s so nice that this is offered to the community and can bring people together,” she said.
