Adam Van Houten, Painter and Instructor at Glen Arbor Arts Center

I support the Glen Arbor Arts Center because it is a local organization that gives back to the community.  This will be my first-time teaching at the Arts Center and I am excited to offer a class for an organization that supports artists and has terrific facilities for the arts. The best part about being involved is building new relationships with artists and students.  For the past five years, I have participated in the Plein Air Paint out in August. This event brings together the community in support of artists and has helped me develop/grow in my painting practice.
