The Glen Arbor Arts Center (GAAC) is proud to collaborate with LIFT, thanks to a generous donation from the Glen Lake Women’s Club. Through this partnership, LIFT students can attend monthly after-school art classes at the GAAC, where they explore creativity and self-expression under the guidance of local artist instructors. This partnership between GAAC and LIFT is especially meaningful, as it provides local youth with valuable opportunities to engage in the arts, culture, and personal development.
LIFT, a nonprofit supporting teens in Leelanau County, empowers young people with resources and experiences that foster resilience, creativity, and career readiness—an alignment that strongly complements GAAC’s mission of enriching the community through the arts. Together, GAAC’s expertise in arts education and LIFT’s dedication to youth empowerment create a nurturing space for teens to develop new skills and connections. This collaboration not only enriches individual participants but also strengthens the community, investing in a creative and inspired next generation.
