Vessels Walk + Talk

A guided walk-and-talk through the Glen Arbor Arts Center’s VESSELS exhibition takes place Saturday, October 8, 11 am. Sarah Bearup-Neal, GAAC gallery manager, leads a conversational tour of this dynamic exhibit.

During this one-hour program, Bearup-Neal will explore the exhibit’s multi-dimensional theme — an out-of-the-box look at bowls, baskets, urns, pods, and other objects that store and carry things. A special feature of the VESSELS exhibit is Judy Chicago’s needlework tapestry Creation of the World 6/9. Part of Judy Chicago’s Birth Project, the tapestry is on loan to the GAAC courtesy of the Dennos Museum Center from its Permanent Collection.
