Plein Air Sundowner for Artists – New!

New Artist Opportunity for the 2015 Plein Air Weekend!

This event is a “Pop Up Paint Out” designed to give artists the opportunity to paint one of our spectacular sunsets. Registration will be at the time of the event (just show up). Registration fee is $10 for GAAC members and $15 for non-members. There is no limit on the number of participants. This event will be weather-permitting but will go on whether we have a sunset or clouds.  Work may be turned in on Friday at the Township Hall to be included in the Quick Draw Sale.

• 7:00 – 8:00 pm – Sign in at the Glen Arbor Arts Center

• Paint until dark

• Next day return finished artwork to the Glen Arbor Township Hall 12-1:30pm (Friday, July 31) for the Quick Sale.

• Works in the Quick Sale on Friday do not need to be framed.  However, works with simple frames do sell best.  Works on paper (watercolor, gouache, pastel, drawings) should be matted.

• Works should not exceed 28″, unframed, in any dimension. No over-sized works will be accepted.

• No pre-registration

• No limit to number of participants

• Location: Artist’s choice – suggestions available at registration
