Description
Construct beautiful paper spheres and bell ornaments using decorative papers in this family-friendly virtual workshop. Fold and glue papers to create two different kinds of ornaments. Each participant will receive enough materials in their art kit to create six ornaments and the skills to do many more! Turn ordinary paper into extraordinary ornaments for your tree or family and friends.
Format
Online via Zoom + mailed art kit. The art kit and shipping are included in the registration price.
Amy Stevens is an arts educator and mixed-media artist with 30+ years of experience, working from her studio overlooking Sanford Lake in Benzie County. She has taught art and English, K-12 and adults, in both public and private school settings, retiring in 2011 after 23 years of teaching literature and composition at Interlochen Arts Academy. She and her husband, John Huston, own and operate Glen Lake Artists Gallery in Glen Arbor. Amy holds a Bachelor of Philosophy and a Masters of Education from Grand Valley State University.
What is the deadline for registering?
The deadline is Thursday, December 3.
What happens when I register?
You will receive a welcome email with details for accessing the Zoom meeting and the art kit will be mailed.
When does my art kit ship?
By December 4 at the latest.
What if I’m not within the recommended age?
Children under 12 may require adult assistance. We’ll let you be the final judge on signing up!
