October After School Art Grades K-4

After School Art returns to the Glen Arbor Arts Center in October.

The K-4 classes meet October 2, 9, 16, and 23 from 4- 5:30 pm. A snack and art supplies are included in the $50 for all four sessions. Tuition assistance is available. Pre-registration is required by Monday, October 1. Transportation to the GAAC is available via the Glen Lake School bus. Parents must complete and return to the Glen Lake Schools a permission form, which is available here.

Sarah Cheek-Toomey holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education with a minor in Visual Arts from Michigan State University. She earned a Master of Science in Ecological Teaching and Learning from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA in 2007. She has spent the past 15 years in public education; most recently teaching elementary art while also serving as the Art Coordinator for Kalamazoo Public Schools.

After School Art lessons are offered monthly at the GAAC through April.
