August 24: Whether you’re an experienced amateur photographer or thinking of buying your first DSLR, this one-day seminar will provide a wealth of information you can put into practice immediately to take your photography to the next level. With a very engaging and entertaining style, Jim Jacoby will share original images and the stories behind them, as well as the knowledge gained over decades as an award-winning professional photographer. Gain a better understanding of light, exposure, composition, camera settings, and tips and tricks the pros use to create classic images. If you enjoy taking pictures, this will be a day well-spent.

His award-winning images have been published around the world and he has become known for his engaging and approachable teaching style. Jim’s commercial clients have included Sara Lee, Ball Park Franks, Ford Motor Company, Cadillac Division, Hewlett Packard, the Detroit Lions, Tigers, Red Wings and Pistons, and many other local and national companies. His fine art work has been published around the world in books, magazines, calendars and advertising campaigns, and featured in galleries and private collections.
