Manitou Winds

Due to the corona virus, this concert has been postponed. Please check again in the future for a rescheduled date and time.
Manitou Winds, one of Northern Michigan’s most eclectic chamber music groups, opens the Manitou Music series with a spring concert exploring color.
“Complementary Colors” is a dynamic program of chamber music, spoken word, and visual art exploring how artists in many disciplines use color as a language of expression, employing divergent voices to create new colors. The performance will feature collaborating artist, Matthew Cochran, Interlochen Arts Academy guitar instructor. With composers and multi-instrumentalists in the ensemble, Manitou Winds programs always include wide-ranging musical styles, from to jazz to new age to folk, along with imaginative combinations of instruments.
The Manitou Winds concert is free.
