Live Raptor Drawing
Date: June 27.
The Glen Arbor Arts Center offers a chance to draw raptors – wild birds of prey. Traverse City artist Glenn Wolff and Rebecca Lessard, founder of the Leelanau County raptor sanctuary Wings of Wonder, will co-teach the Live Raptor Drawing class.
This class provides a chance for students to draw from live, avian models. Lessard will bring two of her resident raptors to the GAAC. As Wolff demonstrates drawing techniques using a variety of media, Lessard will share her insights and information about the birds.
This class is open to students ages 11 years and older. Pre-registration is required. All drawing materials will be provided and are Included in the class registration fee.
