Introduction to Pastels
Sorry, this class has been cancelled.
Pastel, used for hundreds of years by the Old Masters, has had a wonderful revival with many new brands, papers, and techniques. Learn about the new pastels, underpainting, blending, framing, and the instant gratification of applying pure pigment to paper for vibrant, beautiful paintings. This class will concentrate on those new to pastel but with experience in other mediums; however, all levels of pastel experience are welcome. A supply list is available, but the instructor will provide supplies for an additional fee of $45 if the GAAC office is notified by September 1, 2015. Class is held at the GAAC building.
