In the Artist Studio: Figure from Memory and Imagination Demo

In this demo Dylan Evans Weiler will be working through the ideation and drawing process he utilizes when creating illustrations. Weiler presents his process and will explain working with a permanent medium like pen and ink and how he makes decisions and overcomes mistakes. This demo will give a glimpse into his sketchbook process and idea development as well as steps he takes to create a finished illustration.
Format: Live Zoom (a Zoom ink will be sent two days before the demo class).
Dylan Evans Weiler holds a BFA from Northern Michigan University and earned his Master of Fine Arts from Laguna College of Art and Design. His primary focus during his studies was on painting, but his practice includes a diverse set of media including printmaking, historical photographic process, sound and installation to name just few. He brings together traditional and new media to create a more engaging experience for the audience.
