Exhibit: The Leelanau Women Artists

The Leelanau Women Artists [LWA] exhibit new work in a wide range of media – painting, pastels, jewelry, fiber and fused glass — at the Glen Arbor Arts Center, 6031 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor on August 10 – 11. Show hours are: August 10, 1 – 7 pm; and August 11, 10 am – 5 pm. A reception to open the exhibit is August 10, 5 – 7 pm. The public is invited to come meet the artists.

LWA was organized in 2010 through a start-up grant from the Genuine Leelanau Charitable Endowment. It was organized to promote Leelanau County women who are working in the visual arts, and to provide a forum for exhibition, education, and professional development.
