Artist-in-Residence Talk: Jessica Kovan

Jessica Kovan, the GAAC’s second 2019 artist-resident, talks about a new series of mixed-media paintings titled “Art In Nature” – the focus of her AIR residency work. These compositions combine photographs, paintings, journal writings, and collaged materials sources from the region’s many publications. Jessica resides in Okemos.
