Art Exhibit – Three Artist Show

2014 AE 3 Artist Show

Susanne Meserve, of Maple City was an elementary school teacher and moved to the Glen Lake area from Southern California ten years ago. She’s had a life-long love of growing things and most of her paintings are inspired by her own garden. She plans to donate any revenue from her show to a local farm organization. She has created a recipe book for her family, illustrated with the graphics she’ll be exhibiting in her show. She will exhibit with Steve Brunger and Christine Nettleton.

Steve Brunger, of Laingsburg, Michigan began taking lapidary classes in 2006 in Ann Arbor and started selling his jewelry the next year. His Point Betsie Creations include Petoskey stones, horn coral, Charlevoix stone, beach glass, Leland Blue, and Frankfort Green. Semi-precious stones, such as amazonite, aqua marine, a variety of jaspers are used for necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Brunger’s displays have earned him awards, including the 2010 and 2011 Best in Category awards at the Rockford Art in the Park show, the 2011 1st Place Best Display at the Swartz Creek Art Show, and 2012 Best in Category at the University Hospital Employee Art Show. Steve will be exhibiting his artwork with Christine Nettleton and Susanne Meserve.

Christine Nettleton, of Glen Arbor has been making photographs for over 20 years. Her photos have been exhibited at Lansing Community College and her work has been used in a commercial magazine and online publication for the state of Michigan.
