After School Art – Block 1

Have fun with paint and other art materials at the Glen Arbor Arts Center, the little art center nestled in the woods! Enjoy the camaraderie of other young creators. Go home with a finished project. Snack and art supplies provided.

Block #1 will be taught by Nancy Miller, a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where she earned a bachelor of Art Education. She has taught art to children in summer programs at NMC and the GAAC and has been a frequent substitute teacher at Glen Lake School. She helped to develop GAAC’s pottery program at Thoreson Farm and continues to explore her own creative interests through ceramics and watercolor painting.

Transportation: Students may ride the school bus to the GAAC (except for January 19). Parents must take a permission form to the elementary office at Glen Lake School. Click here for the permission form.
