This is an opportunity for current GAAC artist members to showcase the talent within our organization. To participate in this special member-only event:
— Your artwork should reflect the theme of Spring: anything that blossoms – flowers, trees, dune grasses, people, animals, hillsides, etc…. The term blossom is open to interpretation.
— On-line registration will open Wednesday, January 28 at 9:30 A.M. on a first come first served basis
— You may submit one piece of art, one painting or photograph each.
— Works should not exceed 28”, framed, in any dimension. No over-sized works will be accepted.
— Pictures must be framed and ready for hanging with a wire on the back.
— Drop-off date is Wednesday, May 13 from 9:00 A.M.- 6:00 P.M.
— All artwork is to be picked up Monday, June 15 from 9:00 A.M.-3:00 P.M.
Due to gallery space limitations, the number of participants is limited to 35. The registration fee is $20. Artwork may be for sale. Artists set the price. The GAAC will retain 30% of sales; artist will receive 70%. Prizes will be awarded – 1st, 2nd, 3rd places and an honorable mention.
The Gallery Committee will hang the show. There will be an opening reception on Friday, May 15 | 6 pm – 8 pm. Artists are encouraged to attend. Exhibit viewing will be open weekdays until June 15.
